Add Zovama to Wix

Steps

1. In your Wix dashboard, go to Settings, then open Custom Code (under Advanced).
2. Click Add Custom Code and paste your Zovama code.
3. Name it "Zovama chat" and, under Add Code to Pages, choose "All pages".
4. Under Place Code in, choose "Body - end", then click Apply.
5. Publish your site.

Check that it works

1. Open your website in a new browser tab and refresh the page.
2. The chat bubble appears in the bottom corner of the page.
3. In the Zovama panel, the Install the widget card changes to "Installed" once the widget has loaded on your site.

Common problems

I cannot find Custom Code in Settings.

Custom Code is available on paid Wix plans with a connected domain. Check your plan under Settings > Plans.

The chat does not show in the Wix editor.

Custom code runs only on the published site. Open your live site address to see the chat.

I do not see the chat bubble.

Clear your site cache (caching plugin, CDN or host cache) and refresh the page with Ctrl+F5 (Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac). Sites often serve an old copy of the page for a while.

Where exactly does the code go?

Just before the closing </body> tag, once per page. Pasting it twice is not harmful but is not needed.

The code is installed but the panel says it is waiting.

The widget only loads on the domains listed under Allowed domains for your site. Add your website address there, including the version with www if you use it.

It shows for others but not for me.

A browser extension such as an ad blocker can hide chat widgets. Try a private window with extensions off.
